Snowshoeing & Snow Camping

This is snowshoeing at its wintry finest. You’ll have your choice of long, steady, and sometimes steep climbs through beautiful forests, reaching high ridges with unequaled panoramic views. Yet if your style is more along the lines of calmer, flatter trails, then no worries - there are plenty of places to enjoy the day in that exact fashion. So get your shoes strapped on and let the snow fly!

With over 600 miles of groomed trails, it’s no wonder Washington State Snowmobile Association (W.S.S.A.) once proclaimed Upper Kittitas County the "Snowmobile Capital of the State”. In this region the complete snowmobiling experience is accommodated – there’s a myriad of trails for those wishing to dial up the speed, for those just wanting to enjoy pristine backcountry snowscapes, and for those desiring a whole lot of both. Go for the pure adrenaline rush, or the pure scenic beauty!
